Canada student visa from UK

Hi,
I am an Indian national currently studying in UK. I am doing my Bachelor's degree and thinking of doing my mater's in canada. Can I apply my student visa for canada from Uk or do I need to go back to India. Do I need to give any English language proficiency test before applying for Canada student visa
