Hi there,
I got PR approved last month, in preparation to move (or not to move)
I single, 32, petroleum engineer.
Thinking of:
1. Resign job in home place, move to Canada, seek for a job there - but seems like newcomers mostly can not find a job, or get lower positions with low survival salaries.
2. Study master’s (for confidence in job finding) - but it seems to be expensive even for PR holder, for example Calgary University would cost $26K + living expenses $1000 per month. I can not afford it.
3. Get P.Eng - but did not fully understand the whole process of approaching this certificate. Is it full year/full time re-education with exams/tests,
4. Get vacation for month, visit Canada, trigger PR card issue, get back home and think further - it is least thing that I want to do, but currently safest
Please any thoughts are welcome
