Hi there, I got my e-copr on the the 13th of November. My PR Card was mailed on the 19th of November, which is after the Canada Post Strike. I am travelling to France for my sister's wedding on the 22nd of December.

I know I won't get my PR card on time since it looks like the strike will go on until early next year. What are my options? Is there anyone that was able to get PR Card after the strike?

Maybe there's a way they can send it with fedex? I can't afford to change my flights to go to the USA and cross land border, I already paid a fortune for it and I'm a bit tight on budget.

Also, I can't apply for prtd since I am only staying 5 days and have to come back to work. I might miss my sister's wedding...

Would try applying for the PRTD now and hope you can get it stamped while in France. You can also try calling IRCC and explain your urgent reason for PR card and you may be able to receive it in time. Would try to do both asap.
