Hell all,

can any one explain me this

"but only if you are enrolled in one of the programs of study leading to a degree as authorized by the province and not in all programs of study offered by the private institution."

this is stated on the cic site. How can we know that the degree or certificate is authorized by the province. Some private career colleges example private career colleges - CIMT etc offer post graduate diplomas in networking, telecom, business etc.

Any ideas?

Where can we check the accreditation or etc for the canadian colleges? In india there is UGC for example.

Thanks a lot

From here you can find the DESIGNATED INSTITUTIONS LIST: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-institutions-list.asp
If you are going to purse your degree program/diploma from an institute which is listed in the link above then you are safe. Go ahead!

Yes it has a dli in the list. I want to know if the course they are providing is an approved one?. I dont know how to get this information. One more question is SPP (student partner program) still running. It is stated on the cic site that new rules apply from june 1. of course this college is not in spp. A similar course is there in humber college.
