So you are inside Canada now? If you can prove that you can do the job with reference letters and the LMIA is legitimate then it is possible you will receive a closed work permit.

It would be a bit of a stretch to say that you’ve been offered a job in Canada for a job which you don’t have any experience. You can certainly try but this screams paid for a job in Canada.

So your lawyer is going to lie for you. The LMIA is for 6211 and you are going to change your resume to fit the NOC without any experience.

This is very bad advice. If IRCC determines you faked work experience, you are looking at a 5 year ban from Canada.

You should apply with your real work experience. Do not fake your work experience.

Get rid of your lawyer.

Hey there!
Since I have a valid job offer, I'm a little bit confused on what to put on my PR application as proof of funds as well as the amount to put on my personal details. Please advice.

Not enough information.

Do you already have an approved work permit? If so, what kind of work permit? Open? Closed?

Do you have an approved LMIA from your employer?

How are you planning on applying for PR?

Sorry for not being clear enough!

I have been working as an independent contractor with a company (remotely) for more than one year. Last year they started my work permit (closed) process and got a valid LMIA that ends in JULY 2022. At the same time, I got an ITA and started gathering my documents. Hope this is clear enough!
