hi, I want to confirm with you guys whether the IRCC portal NEW VERSION is really down or is it only showing to me? I was about to submit my visit visa application through the new portal (as I meet all requirements) but on friday 5 pm PST it became glitched. Since then, when I try to go to this new portal, it keeps saying the portal is down and can't be reached. Link to the new portal page
Please try and click register for an account or sign in through this portal and tell if it displays an error.

Hi, I have the exact problem. I want to download the letter with the passport request and can't do it because the portal new version is down. I didn't find a communication about it. Is there a way to communicate with them and ask when is it going to work?

Yes, I am super concerned about this. I am wating for my visistor visa application result. Once it is approved I need to send the passport. But portal is down since 4 days now. I keep getting emails saying there is a message for you in the portal. But I am not able to see because its down.

It is super urgent for me to know the appoval status and send the passport. I contacted the emabssy in Vienna over call the said they do not take these questions over call. I sent them the email and got auomtic reply. Is there anyone resposible for this ? Is anyone actully working on fixing this issue ?

Try raising a webform. Hopefully, they act on it sooner!

Also is there any other way to see the messages that we are rececing into IRCC Portal new veersion. I tried to log in to the old portal. But my application does not show in the old portal.

moreover,the new portal and old one are seperate. So the application in new portal has no connection to old.

Assume they will not respond but they are likely working on fixes or updates behind the scene. Although very aggravating would not contact IRCC they are aware of the problem.

I'm going through the same thing. I used the new version of the IRCC Portal and it has been down since Friday. I have the email where they were supposed to ask me to send my passport, but I can't access the website. Does anyone know what might be happening? I filled out the Web Form, but they take 3 days to respond.

+1 Same here. I have reported the Technical Problem via their web form. But no response yet.
Will they extend the 30 days period for sending the passport because of this glitch?
This delay will hamper my future travel plans as I will need my passport to travel

This is very unfortunate indeed. Many people, including me, have already informed IRCC about this technical problem. Lets hope for the best

Hello,
Any new updates on the issue. I am still getting the same response from the website
no updates yet. I recommend using IRCC old portal if you have not yet submitted any visa application. if you have already submitted, all you can do is wait for the problem to get resolved.
