hi
I am an Irish citizen and moved to Canada a year ago to visit my longterm girlfriend.
I did not require a visa to enter the country as I could stay for a min. of 6 months. However I have overstayed my
welcome in Canada and since then I married my candadian girlfriend while in Canada.
My question is can I apply for permanent residency via inland or would I deported immediately for over staying my welcome...?
My partner recently developed a disability and can no longer work therefore cash is extremely and therefore we are just about able to pay rent.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
