Hi there my name is Ben and i am a uk citizen, i have a gf that is a canadian citizen.I am desperatly looking to get advice about comming to canada to immigrate.I know all the procedures about immigration by their local canadian website and the calls i made to them.I have been looking on the job bank and i have applied with resumes but no replies as yet.I called the ncc newcomers canadas thing and they said well try and help u.So anyways they said farms or industrial may be a best bet for you.
Let me just enlighten u all first that i ave expience in warehouse and boiler making assemby exp but no skilled trades as such on paper. So i went to a advice place in the uk and they said google search emloyment agencies, i added that i already did that and the agency told me that they cant employ me bc i dont have a SIN number or work permit, and i mean as everyone knows you need a job offer before you can apply for such a permit.lol.I am thinking of applying for a student visa as im not a student, but i can become one if i can be a student in canada or regardestly. There is so much out there of research and im thinking that im missing out on alot of information bc im not persific in my wordings etc...If there is anyone out there that has been in my situation or knows anything that can help me with my issue plz plz can u post me something bc i need as much info as i possibly can

Without a skilled trade there isn't much hope unless you and your g/f decide to marry or live c/law. Otherwise if you are under 35 you may wish to look at BUNAC. This would give you an open work permit for 1 year, it is not extendable. All of the permits are gone for 2007, but you can apply in December for 2008.

PROVINCIAL NOMINEE IN ALBERTA

Hi, I need your advice. My husband became a Permanent Resident this July 11, 2015 under Provincial Nominee in Alberta. But my children and I did not know until we checked his status. Things changed when he got his Permanent Resident because he does not want us to come in Canada. Right now, we are in the Philippines waiting for our visas to receive. But our problem, our passports is in my husband possession. We wanted to come in Canada but we do not know how and what to do. I did sent a request letter to Canadian Embassy Manila requesting our passports to send to the address I provided but I am not sure if they are able to do that. Please help me what to do … Do you think our passports still in Canadian Embassy Manila. Is there any way we can get our passports with the visa itself? Please let me know… :(
