Canada IEC and Wedding

Hi guys i have applied for the 2016 Canada IEC and i have a Wedding to go to in July flights are booked I'm just going for the two weeks but I'm wondering ifme applying for the Canada IEC can affect the immigration officers decision to let me in. thanks John
