Canada Employment Eligibility requirements for express entry

In order to be eligible for skilled experience in Canada should I have worked in Canada for atleast a year in last three years or in last 10 years. On their website when I fill the application and use the tool to calculate my points, it says
"In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?" .But in this website , http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=730&top=29 the eligibility criteria mentioned is to have work experience in last 3 years.
Can somebody clarify what is the right duration?

You are confusing two things:

1 - In order to be eligible under the CEC program one must have a year of full-time skilled work experience within the past 3 years.
2 - In order to claim points for Canadian work experience one can use skilled work experience within the past 10 years.
