Hi guys, I highly appreciate if you can help me with this question:

Is it safe to apply for Canada citizenship exactly after reaching 1095 days residency requirement or you think we need to wait couple more weeks or month to be more secure and safe? How long you think it is safe enough to wait? Thanks a lot!

There are people who have applied with exactly 1095 days and it has worked out for them. Some people applied with exactly the right number of days, but had forgotten about a short trip... which meant they ended up with fewer than 1095 days and were no longer eligible.

So, really, if you have made any trips at all it is best to wait a bit, so you have some buffer in case there's any miscalculation (it's an expensive mistake otherwise, as IRCC will not reimburse administration fees once processing has started).

How long to wait really depends on how much you've travelled. I think I'd wait at least about a month (but I'm more cautious than others), as that creates enough buffer to comfortably pick up a forgotten trip, or a miscalculated date. If you have travelled a lot (like people who cross the border every week) a larger buffer may be better. If you don't want to wait longer, then at least triple check all travel dates.

If you've not left the country at all since landing I'd wait a week, maybe two. It's less necessary in that case, but as I said I'm cautious. In the end it's what you're comfortable with, and how certain you are about your travels and calculations.
