it's my 2nd time in Canada and was given 6 mos to stay until nov 1, but within that period we're planning to visit the US. If I visit the US in sept and go back to Canada after a few days, does my stay in Canada reset again to 6 Months? Like I can stay until march?
did this last year (Canada-US and back to Canada) I remember the IO going back to Canada didn't restamp my passport. How would you know how long can you stay in Canada on a re-entry if there was no stamp?
Appreciate your insights. Thank you

It might. You might also be refused entry.

Most likely your initial authorized stay will be honoured.

If there is no stamp then it means that your initial entry to Canada was honored, so there will be no change in the date you should leave.
