Friends,
I am nowhere condemning the humanitarian decision taken by new government elected in Canada for accepting Syrian Refugees...
I am not saying that these refugees are not in utmost and urgent need of support and most-basic aid such as food, shelter and medicals. I am not saying that they don't need a life of peace and happiness, a life in synergy with the people of other origins and different religions.
What I think is that the new government must have their own compelling reasons to do so.. May be due to the promises they made in their election campaign and similar reasons..
However, looking at the recent incidents happened worldwide over the last month or so... what do you think of the implications of this decision will be on the overall socio-economic situation in Canada as well as on the integrity and security of Canadian Society in the Long Term?
I think this is really a serious exercise which new government must do before hasting into any decisions which may endanger/put the security and integrity of the nation at stake over long term.
New government must consider the examples of many nations who have done so before and now what is happening with those countries. Need not to name which one.. Examples are crystal clear in front of the world-wide populations.
