Hello!

I was just wondering if anyone can help. My application was received at CIC on April 17th 2012. I had just got a new IEC working holiday visa that is valid until July 2013. The PC PNP officer said that this should be enough time for my Permanent Residency to come through..however with this whole moving from Buffalo to Ontario I believe there is huge delays (my status still says "application received" after 8 months). I know I can extend this temporary holiday visa into a visa specific for the job I am being sponsored for with a letter from the PNP, but I had planned on returning home for a months holidays in September, as I thought I would have the PR by than. Can you leave the Canada for this length of time when you are on this "job specific visa". My work is fine with the time off, as Ive been here nearly 3 years, but just wondering if this is actually possible?

Thanks for any help, greatly appreciate if anyone has any insight! ;D
