HI,
I have a confusion in my mind as I want to visit Canada for 1 or 2 month and after taking my PR card I want to return back to my country to do some unfinished business and come latter after a year or 2 ....
Firstly Is that possible ??? because some1 told me that you have to live a minimum of 6 months at your first arrival of Canada.....

I know that you have to take live for 2 years befor u get ur nationality...i m not confused over tht issue..

Thanks in Advance :)

1. Yes, you can leave 15 minutes after you "land" if you want. But to maintain your PR status, you must reside in Canada for 2 years in every 5 year period.
2. No, you need 3 years physical residency in Canada in the 4 years prior to the date of the application to apply for citizenship
