Can we use the study permit for different DLI

Good day,

After getting my study permit, can I use it to study another course in another DLI in another province and instead of start in September intake , I can start in winter intake.

Please advise.

yes.. you can use your study permit to study in any DLI for as long as you are in Canada, but when you do transfer to another DLI, do immediately update your CIC account to your new DLI number

your admission/program does not concern cic as long as its in same DLI, so that concerns the DLI and you

If I got study permit lasts for 1 year, can I enroll in a program which lasts for 2 years? And how to do so? Other thing, what about if he gave me from September? And I want to join in January intake, will I face a problem in the border? Shall I write another SOP OR LOE?

if i get you clearly..
you can always extend your study permit at any time upon its expiration, and you can renew or extend your study permit upon the completion of a program which the intention to continue studying

if after you have been given a study permit you decide to defer your admission from September to January, that's between you and the college and not CIC but all you need to do is to request for the new college offer letter so you can add it in inclusion to your study permit so it will be an evidence to tend to the CBSA at the airport to make the explanation process easy of why not resuming in September and why January

you don't need any SOP/LOE again after getting study permit except you've not apply yet that's only when you need to write or make corrects to reflect the right details
