Can we show Fixed Deposits (India) as a part of funding?

Hi All,

Can we show FDs (in parents' name) as a part of funds with a letter from bank stating that FDs can be encashed any time and quoting their minimum value when encashed and a letter from parents stating that they will encash the FDs whenever required for funding of studies ? ...any idea or suggestions?

if u r talking about SPP program then u can't... but u can get education load on these FD's....for SPP 80% education loan is must...
