can we remove dependent(CLP) after getting AOR?

Hi,

I applied for my PR (CEC stream) and got AOR on July 5th and had included my fiancee details under the dependents section(as common law partner) but had mentioned she will not be accompanying me to Canada.

But, IRCC has now requested to furnish her PCC/Medicals and other documents/forms, in order for them to proceed on my PR application within 30 days.

I can get her PCC, medicals and other relationship documents but would take longer due to COVID.

Can I remove her as dependent instead? IRCC has requested for below
-> Updated Generic Application Form for Canada IMM 0008 for yourself and your spouse or common-law partner (CLP);
-> Updated Additional Family Information Form IMM 5406 for yourself and your spouse or common-law partner (CLP);

Should i remove her as dependent in the above forms and upload it with an LOE? so that my current PR application gets moving as she will not be coming to Canada any sooner.

Please let me know if anyone has any idea

IRCC does not allow you to ditch a dependent because getting the required documents would be inconvenient. If you are in a common-law relationship by IRCC's definition your partner must be examined whether accompanying or not.

I am planning to travel to India in December for my marriage with her

Rephrasing my earlier question, posting my doubts related to this:
1. Should I provide CLP documents requested by IRCC now and upload the marriage certificate to convert her status as a spouse in December?
or request IRCC with an LOE to have my application processed, only after I upload the certificate in December so that we go through the process only once.
2. If IRCC is not convinced with my CLP documents(if I submit it in the next 30days), would they reject my CEC PR application? I am not claiming any points for the dependent though.

Please let me know.

Did you know difference between CLP and fiancé? Did u lived together 12 months?
