Can we migrant to Canada if IELTS score is less than required?

I score 5.5 in reading and 6 rest including overall. Can I apply for Canadian PR? I am married and planning to go without my spouse.

I think it depends on what province and stream you are applying for. For example if you apply for Nova Scotia Express Entry, they require a score of 6.0 in every test and total band score. In addition to that, Language test is a minimum requirement, if you do not meet the required score then you are not eligible to apply.

Try and see if you can re-take your IELTS ASAP , It is going to improve your points and Chances . I recommend to score 6+ in each section . There are lot of folks around here who scored very good in IELTS and standing top .
