I checked with Fedex they say its gonna take an extra day to take it to Sydney no matter where ever I send it from. So if I send it from Edmonton tomorrow it will reach Sydney on 11th. That is why I have decided to fly to Halifax and may be drive from there to Sydney if they take the application in person otherwise I will courier it from Halifax.wd1 said:

I totally agree here. I cannot comment on personal circumstances, but flying to halifax just to get the application in seems awfully desperate, especially from Northern Alberta...if the true intention is to "live" in Canada, a year should not make any difference; life should go on as normal.
