i have applied for shridan college electro emchanical technician which is a UG course.....
and i want to go for humber wireless telecommunication course (PG course)

and now i dont have much time left for applying through humber from india itslef..

so what are the chances that i can transfer my course...
and what is the procedure for the same....i searched on net and was not able to get much on it...
so plz any one who know about this.....pour your knowledge...thnx!

If you are eligible to apply for humber PG course ( PG courses usually require an UG degree as a prerequisite), you CAN change from UG to PG. Additionally, no need to change anything with your study permit. You just get admitted to humber after reaching Canada....that's it.

thnx for the reply!!
yes, i have done BTech in Instrumentation. I'm eligible for humber.

i'm just scared that seats might get filled up by that time at humber...

Also i haven't applied for any call letter for humber yet, is that required, the call letter or any other thing that may be required at the time i apply for the transfer of course...or shall i first wait for my visa result and then apply if its gets aprooved...

You should have applied for a PG course in the first place. I have come to know from this forum that people have been refused visas for illogical progression of studies. Like going for a UG diploma after doing graduation in India. Do not make a hurried decision.

You can apply for Humber's course NOW, it will just cost you around $100 but they might pressure you to deposit fees and you cannot possibly do that unless your current fees is refunded by centennial.

bro if i apply for humber now i wont be able to finish my work till 1 dec....

yeah i heard too about illogical progression...but many got through this too coz of a good SOP...

also i have less marks in my Degree (54%) they can object on that too...and my agent said that humber has high rejection rate...(i dont agree with that ..but i applied..however)

pata nhi kya banega :-[

This spp visa seems more like a lottery now

In my opinion, instead of counting on the luck of a few people, applying for PG is better. Definitely the eyebrows are raised if you apply for a UG program after B.Tech. Chances of visa rejection will be almost certain, unless you are extremely lucky !!

thnx for ur valuable advise guys!

i want to go for jan'14 , i dont think i will make up before the deadline if I apply for humber now....

trying for this UG course is the only option left with me...
