Hi

I submitted my citizenship application on October 10th via xpresspost without signature option(i forgot my bad). It is supposed to deliver by october 15th.

but when i track for the status on the canada post website. It says it is in Halifax and in transit to final destination.

I called canada post call center and they opened a support ticket to investigate.

The next day they called me and said that--they verified with the cic mail room and they said that they have received it. But somehow Canada post forgot to update the status on their website and they closed the ticket.

can we believe that my application got delivered. Is there anyway to check my application has received to cic before i get AOR.

Did anyone face similar experience .please let me know

I had to return a pair of glasses recently and the company sent me a prepaid label for Canadapost. The tracker never updated past "Out for Delivery" and since I never heard from the rep I was dealing with I assumed that it was delivered but some bug happened with the online system. I'd say it's fine and you should just wait for your AOR.

It’s most likely delivered. No, there’s no way to check if they received your application before AOR. That’s what AOR is in part.

You can ask Canada post to provide a proof of delivery since it is a miss from their side.. and update the tracking on their website..All the best

they didnt update but i do ask them to send an email what they said me on phone. They sent me email confirmation.

In the future use couriers like Fedex. They are faster, safer and more reliable!

Hi, I have the same issue, however, after 7 days of opening a ticket nobody has traced the package and I am really worried it might be lost

I posted it on Sep 22 using canada post express and still no news of being delivered or lost ...

May I ask how you got them to trace it? I called them twice, followed up emails and they don't have the decency to reimburse or follow it up seriously.
