Can we apply PR or Work Permit on visit visa status inside canada alberta ??

Hi

I am on visit visa in canada alberta .

Yesterday I met a lawyer to file my case as protected person , but she told me she can apply my PR or work permit within 8 month with 100 % surety on the basis of my post graduation as office manage catageroy.

I dnt know what to do , Pls advice because I really dnt know the any thing ?
