Can we apply for TRV as soon as the BOWP is approved?

Is it possible to apply for TRV after the status on MyCIC shows that the BOWP is approved or do we have to wait for the hard copy to arrive first?

Check the online application for TRV. If at the last step it asks you to scan a copy of your work permit then you'd have to wait for it. Otherwise you can apply. IIRC you don't need to have the hard copy but that might have changed since.
