Can we apply for spouse in same application of experienced class?

Hi,

I am eligible under Canada experience class to apply for PR since I completed 2 years in Canada however I am not sure if I can also apply for my spouse in the same application. My spouse was not in Canada as we are recently married and she has just arrived.

Can I add her details in the same application? If Yes, then will there be additional fees?

You include her as your dependent in your application. Yes, $550.00 plus the $490.00 Right of Permanent Resident fee.

Thnx! I thought I have to pay 550 *2. What is 490 for?

550 * 2 is for the application. 490 * 2 is for your right of permanent residence when your application is approved.
