If you have a year of full time and paid skilled work experience from your home country, it's possible you may qualify to apply for PR through the Express Entry program.

If you complete a Masters or PhD in Ontario, then you may qualify to apply for PR in Ontario one you finish your program (or in the case of a PhD, once you have successfully completed at least three years of that program).
