HELLO.
I have completed the obligatory time period of citizenship i.e. 3 years out of the last 4 years in Canada(Sept 2008 to sept 2011).At the moment, I am residing in my home country,could you please guide me whether,I can apply for the Canadian citizenship by sending my application to Sydney,NS,through my Uncle s who is in Canada, while staying in my home country?.In addition to that,I have got my citizenship photos taken from Shoppers Drug Mart,AB which are 10months old and lastly I ll be returning to canada in March 2013.Thanks.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

No, you must be in Canada when you apply but you can leave after you have applied.
