Hello,

Please help me in solving this puzzle . I will be grateful to you all. Please advise which of the following category is best bet for FSW.

I have good work experience in biology area in UK for 3 years and currently I am in USA for a PhD. My score for FSW is 68. On the other hand My fiance( not married yet) has studied in canada and she has 2 year work experience in canada and she score 67 for FSW. WE Both are eligible for FSW. She is also eligible under Canadian experienced class category but this moment she is out of her job so cant apply till she find next one.

The aim is to file individual applications so that there is a backup in case one of the application is rejected. I have following questions about best case scenario.

case 1: we file individual applications as "single" without claiming points for each other . In this case if we get married after application is filed and wish to update the marital status, would it infringe on our applications ?

case 2: we file individual applications as "single" while claiming points for each other and later update the each application after marriage ?

case3 :File a joint application and declare the status as married. Who should be principal applicant ? ( I have more points on education but she has more points on adaptability ( she lived in Canada)) ?

case 4: She File application adopting my points for education while showing marital status as married and I file another independent application ( without claiming points from her Education and experience in Canada) but shows marital status as married. ?

Friends please help.
best,
Singh
