I guess everyone is going through this after sending their papers off that the days just don't get over. I am having a real tough time now as now we all are just unsure how long of a wait it is . It feels like just given a final exam and waiting for the result now. How are you guys coping and do you guys get over this feeling ?

I know how you feel. After sending the package, I find that the time is sooo slow. I am also having a tough time, I haven't seen my husband since January of this year. I'm praying that the whole process will be fast...

Kal, you shouldn't stress at all.

Seeing that you are going through the ND Office you will prolly be out of there in no time (less than 6 months) if everything is good with your application comparing to other offices that take from 6 months to almost 2 years.

Comparing your stress to others who have been going through this process for months upon month, it's really nothing.

This process is tiring, fatiguing, mind breaking but all of us who have been stuck in it get by somehow.

So ya, your stress is nothing. Just be thankful that you are going through a smooth sailing office that gets through apps within max 6 months.

Good luck!

Kal, I feel your pain. I was the most laid back person about this entire process until I actually mailed the appliation off to Mississauga. THEN, it did seem like time practically stood still. Once I got the sponsorship approval letter in the mail though, time seems to have picked up the pace again though, and I hope it will for you as well. :) It probably didn't help matters any that I could't ever, and still can't log onto e-cas using the sponsor info. Once my husband got his b-file # I could log on though and reading those two words "in process" made all the difference in the world. Now I am happy and hoping we will be at the end of this process sooner rather than later.

Good luck

Time used to fly by so fast whenever I was trying to put the application together and now that it is sent, time has just stood still. I already feel like I have been waiting a month or more but it has only been a little over 2 weeks. I just want to see it say "in process" but I have to wait another 2 months for that since I applied inland. Ugh...I am certainly going crazy at this point. ???

That is what I couldn't wait to read "in process" two simple enough sounding words but hold so much meaning for all of us. Once I read those words, I was able to relax completely. Sure I still wonder what's going on with my husbands PR application, but I'm no longer worried about it. It's out of my hands and it is what it is. Good luck.

The months FLEW BY compared to just the last couple of days after mailing. Wow. It really is interesting. The only thing I have going for me is I will be visiting my husband in Canada for the next couple of weeks... but it will still be until about September 15 until I hear about the sponsorship approval (if CIC's 43 day approximation is accurate enough). ???
