I landed in Canada in December 2022 but I currently live elsewhere. I plan on settling there in June 2026; can the years accumulated there add up to citizenship requirements even after the first 5 years?
It's not clear what you are asking.
To meet the permanent residency obligation, you must living in Canada for 730 days out of every five rolling years. Note this requirement is on a rolling basis and is not tied to the validity date on your PR card.
For citizenship, you need 1095 residency days in Canada within the previous five years on the day you submit your application. This again has nothing to do with the validity of your PR card.
