Can the RCMP finger print be done in local police office rather than accredited company?

Hello, I have a question regarding on the RCMP clearance check and fingerprinting.

In the CIC website, it said

"A full electronic set of fingerprints on form C-216C taken by one of these accredited companies or police services"

Because in my city, there is no accredited companies. Is it possible to do the fingerprint in the local police office? Does every police office provide the this kind of fingerprinting?

Does any seniors happen to know about this. Thanks

I did fingerprint at local police service. Most police services can now submit fingerprints electronically; however, it is recommended to confirm with your local police service what options they offer as service can vary from one agency to the other.
