Can spouse of student live as dependent and commute for work to US on H1 ?

hi all, this probably would be a ques more for US immigration but I am still posting here to get inputs. we are indian nationals.
my wife is planning to study in canada for a post graduate program/certification(supply chain related programs). Will i be eligible to stay with her in canada(currently working in US on H1) and then commute to US, daily/weekly ?

Any advice/experiences are most welcome.

So what status are you thinking of holding in Canada , an accompanying work permit or temporary resident visa for the duration of your wifes study permit. Others can comment but could maybe see issues commuting on a daily basis across the border given the temporary status in Canada but thats my view and could be wrong.

thanks Bs65. I myself am not sure. I just need appropriate valid status in canada which will allow me to do so(stay with spouse and work in US), if there is any. sounds like I might be better off consulting a lawyer ultimately. but any inputs here, like yours, will give me more insight before time.
