Within a year? You've stayed more in Canada than out of Canada. Show proof that you are still VISITING, and you don't let the officer know you're intending to stay for 6 months. What about a contract of lease for an apartment, round trip airfare (maybe something you can change the departure date for a later time).

We don't know how port of officers think and act on these types of situations. Just relax. Explain why you're visiting. You've left each time and that's on the positive side. Hopefully the officer does not start counting the number of days/months you've stayed in Canada.

yeah i need a chill pill.. it's a bit nerve wrecking though. i'm there visiting my bf and i'll obviously tell the IO that, but since i've stayed more than not i don't hope they think i'm working illegally since i can't prove that i'm working in my home country!

well i'm staying at my boyfriends home and i have saved up money for a long time so i can support myself. but the whole not being able to show a letter of absence from employer isn't exactly a good thing is it?

but i have a bank statement with a good amount of money on
to show them i can actually support myself but it's in a danish
currency - would that matter?

thank you so much for your replies
much appreciated!
