In my master degree certificate, they have mentioned as "Examinations held in Jan 2002"
whereas, in my consolidated mark sheet, the final semester duration is given as "July 2001 - Nov 2001".

Which date should I mention in the application??

Could someone guide me on this??

Study courses and Exams are merely requirements to be fulfilled to attain a degree.

The date you graduate is the date when the degree is actually conferred on to you.

I would go for the date on the degree certificate.

I agree, you should put the date you got your degree.
