Can Provincial Nomination be revoked if applicant wants to go back to school?

Hello,
I have been nominated but the province of Ontario (Masters stream) and my permanent residence application is now being processed by CIC. I currently work part time and would like to pursue a PhD program full time. I was advised by Ontario Immigration that they MAY revoke my nomination if they learn that I want to pursue further studies instead of entering the workforce full time. The thing is, I have been applying for full time positions, but have been unable to get a full time job yet. In the meantime, I would like to pursue further studies to make myself more employable while maintaining my part time job. Can anyone tell me if that would cause me problems to immigrate to Canada or even to apply for citizenship in the future?
Thanks!

Yes you are risking your application for PR.If they find out , then you are in trouble.

It clearly mentions "people who are ready to enter the work force"

Thank you for your message.

I am aware that I have to be ready to enter the work force and I have already done so, but on a part-time basis and not full-time. Would still pose a problem for my permanent residency?

Thanks again!

i suggest you not risk it. you'd better wait until your pr is approved by the federal government and then go back to school.

Immigration people do not consider problems like not finding job etc.....I think if they told you clear and cut that you might lose your nomination, please do not put yourself into that position. You might should just go to an immigration lawyer, may cost you a bit for 1 hour appointment but you will get a trustable answer. My suggestion is not to risk it. PR these days is coming fast you will get it sooner or later...

Bless you and Best of Luck

Thanks all for the valuable information. I decided to see an immigration lawyer and make sure I don't run the risk of having my provincial nomination revoked. Cheers!
