Can "Proof of Funds" show joint statements

Hi,

Will it be ok if I attach my bank statement along with copies of savings certificates in name of my wife. She will accompany me in case if immigration is granted.

Yes. you can provide joint statement only in case if account holder is your spouse and is in your application.

How can we find out the Visa Office requirements?
(In my case, New Delhi)

One more question:
Would the New Delhi Office ask for an update of funds at the visa issuance stage, when it was already updated at the documents update stage?

i dont think it matters as long as your son is on the application... but, that's what i think... wait for others to reply

Yes, should be OK, as Fixed deposits can be broken @ any time and the money then becomes readily available & accessible.
(You may have to pay a fine for breaking it before the specified maturity date though).
I am sure that for London Office, it should be fine.

Friends,
Here's how we showed our proof of fund:
Half the amount as fixed diposit certificate belongs to my wife and me.
Some amount as fixed diposit certificate where I am the co-owner along with my father.
Rest as fixed diposit certificate owned by my wife and her mother.
All certificates indicate that all have equal right to withdraw money, which is called "either or survivor basis" in India.
We have completed our medical tests and submitted RPRF and passports to CHC New Delhi as per their request, so I think it worked. My wife and our two children will accompany me to Canada if we get the VISA.
