Hi members, we family has USA visit valid visa. I have applied kids Canada trv visa but for 50 days no decision on it so far. Now my wife also got USA visa so I want to apply for her so we travel to Canada as family for winter vacations. so should i apply for wife now or wait for kids decision? what do you say?

Why didn't you all apply in the first place? That is what she should have done. Why just the kids as that makes no sense?

IRCC decides if processed CAN+ so she should apply now.

Just remember, just because they got US visa , does not guarantee them Canadian TRV

Thank you for reply and guidance. My wife hadn't US visa then so we weren't sure that we can travel as family or not. Now as she also got one so we have planned to travel as family that's why. Every case has its own sense nothing is with no sense friend.

So what does US visa have to do with travelling there?

What I don't understand is why your children applied for a TRV before your wife and what US visa has to do with it if you haven't travelled there. A US visa may not give you faster processing if you have never even travelled there. You all could have applied for Canadian TRV together and not separately. Now to IRCC it may look suspicious. Assume you have Canadian TRV and US visa already.

At 50+, it is not being processed as CAN+ so they wait.
