Can not travel to Canada before CoPR and Visa expiration date

Hi Everyone,

I got CoPR in November and planned to travel on 29 March after wrapping up all here in India. However, due to COVID-19, it is very unlikely that I will be able to travel before the CoPR and Visa expiration date. Can anyone enlighten me, what should I do to get an extension?

Thanks for the update, I have submitted the form on 14 April. However, still I didn't get any update. Can you tell me how long it usually takes to get a response. My visa is expiring on 26 April.

As long as you submitted your proof of cancelled flight and your request for an extension you should get an extension. Very difficult to give out extensions if CIC doesn’t know when borders may open again.

@canuck78 @dan_and Thanks for your reply. I am also hoping they will reply soon. As I haven't raised any new webform and thinking it will work. I will keep you all updated.
