Can my wife now apply for OPW?

Hi there,

Simple question but cant seem to find a an answer anywhere (cic phonelines difficult to get through). I just received an email from cic stating that I have met the requirements for eligibilty as a sponsor for my wife. Does this mean the first stage has been approved and she can now apply for an open work permit or are we still going to have to wait for another letter stating that she can now apply for opw?

Inside or outside of Canada spousal application? If inside (Vegreville) then she can apply for SOWP, it outside (Mississauga) then she isn't eligible.

thanks for your reply. Yes we applied inland to Vegreville. So do we just send in the'' change of status'' form now?

Yes, with the work permit application.
