I know that if I am a full time student and work in NOC A, B or 0, my spouse can apply for OWP. Or do I JUST need to be a full time student and could be not working at all?
However I will be graduating soon (study permit expires end of July 2015) and I will have my PGWP in May.
Can my wife still apply for OWP then?
Also the OWP will grant her the right to stay in Canada and work. But is she going to need a visa to enter Canada?

Thank you!

u need a job with NOC A, B or 0 if ur on pgwp for ur wife to apply for open work permit. however ur wife can have a visitors visa without work permit if u dont have a NOC A, B or 0 job.

I will have a PGWP and NOC A, B or 0 in may.
So she will apply for OWP then. But does the work permit grant her the right to enter Canada? Or does she still need a visa?

Thank you!

well when she applies for work permit out side canada she will apply for trv at the same time as u did with ur study permit ...i think its schedule1 form or something ...

Got it. Thank you!
It's just that the former for TRV only asks for an invitation letter from me. And I have to be either a citizen or a PR in order to write it.
But I hope that's not the case when she applies for both OWP and TRV.

Thank you.
