Can my son with visitor visa allowed to enter in Canada with me having student Visa?

Hello all,

I have a doubt that if my son will be allowed to enter in Canada along with me as I am having student visa and will get my student permit in Canada. I have consulted an expert in India and he has told me that immigration might deport me if I take my son with visitor visa while me having student visa. He told me to apply for dependent visa for my son and then only he can travel with me. He is not even 4 years old if that helps.

There is no such thing as a dependent visa. A dependent visa is a visitor visa. He should be allowed to travel with you if you have the approval of the father.
