There are very few direct international flights to Calgary other than from the US, so they usually involve a connection to get to Calgary.

But sure you can visit Calgary as long as you are prepared with your paperwork if asked at the first POE to show onward travel to Toronto and your college offer letter.

But check that you actually have a direct flight given you would complete immigration at the first POE into Canada. Once cleared immigration you can take a domestic flight anywhere in Canada.

There is no direct flights from where I live (India) to either Calgary or Toronto but it is cheaper to go to Calgary then to Toronto rather than going to Toronto then Calgary and then back to Toronto.
I have booked my flight from Calgary to Toronto. And I have my college offer letter.

direct flight to Calgary meaning no other stop in canada. Is there a flight which will go to Calgary without stopping anywhere in Canada. I doubt that but if there is then ur POE will be Calgary if not then where ever u land first in Canada will be ur POE(port of entry)
Yes there is no other stop in canada if I go to Calgary .
One more thing should I tell immigration officer that I am visiting my uncle in Calgary for one month and then Ill go to Toronto?

There are multiple flights to Calgary without any stop over in any other part of Canada. Calgary is the 3rd largest city in Canada.

Multiple flights maybe but choice is limited from India via London, Paris or Frankfurt direct without a domestic connection according to airport arrivals today for example, majority flights into Calgary are domestic or from the US. Even British Airways are dropping Calgary in the fall so one less from London.

That's not true. Also depends upon your port of exit. There are many flights with a Stop Over in Amsterdam as well.
