Can My Parents Submit New Passport

Finally after 10 months, My Parents finally received their Visit Visa. (received the letter to submit passports).

My qs is, their current passport is expiring in 2024 Jun. Can they renew their passport and submit the new passport with validaity of 10 years, Do you it is recommended?
Yes they can renew before 6 months of expiry date and will recieve in next 10 days. Kindly suggest

Just to keep in mind, while submitting the application they send bio pages of current passport which showed that passport validity is until Jun 2024.

yes ideally they should renew the passport for another 10 years then submit the passport for visa stamping unless u do not lapse the time frame provided by the VO for passport submission
u can double check this with ur local VAC
they will confirm it more
