Can my parents land at different times as they enter Canada for the 1st time?

Greetings,

my sponsorship for my parents completed earlier this year. My parents have their own separate COPRs and VISAs. My dad is the principle applicant. Can my mum land first in Apr, and then my dad land some time in the summer?

I'm not able to confirm this requirement from the IRCC website, but it seems that the PA has to land first according to some google results. I'm confused.

Your father needs to land first. You mother cannot land ahead of him.
