Hi guys, sorry I'm double posting this. I think this is the right category to post this question.
I am graduating from university this year, and planning to get a job on a Post Graduate Work Permit. I have an illness that I have had since I was little, and I need a lot of emotional support (also confirmed by my doctor). So while i was studying, My doctor and I each wrote a letter explaining this, and CIC let my mother stay here with me to support me. But can she stay with me while I work? Not only do I need emotional support, my mother (due to marrital status) has no one to live with in my home country, and I don't want her to live all by herself there. She really wants to stay here too. I help her with everything there is to help in a home, such as when problems occur like accidents, bank, etc. She can't speak english too well.
Is there any way she can stay here with me while I work, on my PGWP? Currently she is on her visitor record visa. She has been here for more than 10 years on that visa while I study. She has some degree of ties to Canada, such as owned home, car, filed tax for several years, etc. (This last sentence is a new one I added compared to my prev. post on the other section)
Thank you for all your help on this forum.
