Can my brother in law support my education in Canada?

I am going to apply for study visa. But i want to know that can my brother in law support my education. He is in belgium n doing a white collar job. Can i attach his bank statement with my visa application? Will that be accepted?

Based on my understanding, yes he can, but not recommended. It would be safer if he transfers the money in your/your parent's account; it would be far more reasonable.
