Can international student own his business in Canada

Hi, I am a first year university student who is planning to own my restaurant business in Canada, Vancouver BC.

I have my study permit states that i am allow to work off campus for up to 20 hourse a week. I also have my own sin number.

I wonder if I will be able to register my own business.

As you do not have resident status (It seems) I suspect you will be subject to rule applying to foreigners regarding business ownership in Canada. You will require a Canadian Partner (PR or citizen).
