My husband and I just got married in early January 2012. He's from Canada and in the Canadian Military, and I'm from the United States. We have a few question about visiting during the immigration process. Am I able to visit him for the 6 months during the immigration process? If I am able to, will I have a problem bringing the basics for an apartment (mattress, dressers, etc.)? He's still in the barracks right now, but looking for an apartment in a few months. Thanks!

Yes, you may visit for the 6 months, but yes you will definitely have problems convincing them you are only visiting if you show up with furniture.
