Hi,
I live in a country where affidavit is not a thing, and the local notary office refused to translate and notarize documents issued by non-governmental entities, e.g.employment letter signed by a person.
I've contacted two CTTIC certifed translators and they said everything can be done digitally, i.e. I scan original and email them; they translate, certify, scan and email back to me.
Would this work? Based on the wording of CIC instruction, it doesn't seem to prohibit such ways.
Please advise.
