Can I update ECA after ITA

Can you please let me know if I can update my ECA reference number and issue date after receiving ITA?

Yes you can but why? what changed in the ECA? Did it expire?

Not really. I updated my ECA application number and the submit date as ECA issue date and reference number in EE. I’m getting my ECA before my PR application expires (60 days) just thinking to decline my ITA and update the correct information or just wanted to see if I can go ahead with my application as circumstances are the same. I claimed masters degree and my ECA also will come as masters degree. Just wondering if this is misrepresentation.

So your saying that you entered ECA information into the EE profile without actually doing the ECA???? How are you waiting on the ECA, when you claimed in the EE profile that you already had it and it's an equivalent. Did I get that correct?

If correct, you misrepresented your highest level of education. I suggest you decline the ITA and wait until you actually have an ECA.

That’s what I’m gonna do. Before rejecting I will ask a lawyer. I saw someone was in the same situation and got the PR approval. But I feel to decline it and update the new information.
